It then applies “chain-of-thought” reasoning to ensure these actions are safe and logical.
The result is a driving style that feels comfortable to passengers. In a video demonstration of the Mercedes-Benz CLA, the car was shown navigating San Francisco with smooth, confident maneuvers. It avoided the hard braking and hesitant creeping that often characterize autonomous vehicles, providing a ride that felt professionally driven.
This natural behavior is supported by the massive processing power of the new Vera Rubin chips. These chips allow the car to compare its current situation with its vast library of learned human behaviors instantly. The result is a seamless integration of machine precision and human-like intuition.
