AndaSeat has introduced its Phantom 4 Series, an ergonomic seating solution designed to accommodate the natural movements of users engaged in activities such as working, gaming, and reading. Recognizing that individuals rarely maintain a static sitting position, AndaSeat has developed this series to offer consistent support while allowing for natural shifts in posture.
The standout feature of the Phantom 4 Series is its Dynamic Auto-Tracking Lumbar system, which offers users the ability to customize lumbar support through 15 locking positions within a 0–95 mm adjustment range. This system is engineered to pivot approximately 5 degrees to either side and tilt through a 25-degree forward-and-back range, ensuring continuous support as the user’s torso moves.
To complement its responsive lumbar system, the Phantom 4 Series chairs incorporate a 55 kg/m³ cold-cure foam seat that serves as a stable foundation. Both the Phantom 4 and Phantom 4 Pro models enable a backrest recline of up to 135 degrees and approximately 15 degrees of rocking, allowing users to adjust their overall seating positions deliberately.
The two models differ in their levels of manual adjustment. The standard Phantom 4 includes 2D armrests with forward-back and vertical adjustments, an adjustable memory-foam head pillow, and a butterfly tilt mechanism. The Phantom 4 Pro, however, offers enhanced features with 3D 360-degree rotating armrests, additional adjustment ranges, and a multi-function tilt mechanism featuring tilt-lock functionality.
AndaSeat’s design philosophy emphasizes responsive seating that does not restrict every movement but rather provides a solid base while allowing selected components to adapt to smaller positional changes. The Phantom 4 Series thus aims to balance stability, user-controlled adjustments, and mechanical responsiveness, prioritizing real-world sitting behaviors over static postures during work or gaming sessions.
